The English Day celebration of Sacred Heart Convent -Upper School

 

The English Day celebration organized by the English Unit of Sacred Heart Convent was held on 14 ^th of January 2023 with Ms. Sajani Jayawardene Ranatunge, LL B Attorney at Law, Country Program Manager, Australia Awards Sri Lanka and Maldives, a prominent past pupil of SHC, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

The well-organized event gave the feeling of fascination throughout the function with dramas, songs and speeches blending well together. Senior Heartians' performance on “Twelfth Night” of the well-known dramatist William Shakespeare brought the joy to the audience.

This event is held every year to promote the English language skills of the students and uplift desirable attitudes towards the English language.
