Christmas Carol Service - 2023
Sacred
Heart Convent celebrated the Christmams – the “Glorious Birth” on 21st
December 2023 in the School Centenary Hall. The Chief Guest of the morning show
was Rev. Sr. Sandya Fernando, the Principal of our school.
The Chief
guest of the public show was His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Raymond Wickramasinghe,
the Bishop of Galle Diocese. Moreover, Rev. Fr. Charles Hewawasam, Vicar
General of Galle Diocese, Rev. Fr. Nihal Nanayakkara, Former Vicar General of
Galle Diocese, Rev. Fr. Camilus Cooray, Former Lecturer of National Seminary -Ampitiya,
Rev. Fr. Lakshman Peris, Superior of Jesuit Community, Rev. Fr. Demian
Arsakularathne, Parish Priest of St. Mary’s Cathedral Galle, Rev. Fr. Bernard
Jayasinghe, the Principal of Mount Calvary High School – Hapugala were present
at this momentous occasion.
