The Annual English Day of Sacred Heart Convent- Primary Section

 

The Annual English Day of Sacred Heart Convent - Primary Section was held on the 21 ^st January 2023 with Mr. Isuru Abeyaratne, the Deputy Director of Education (Education Administration) Zonal Education Office – Galle and Mrs. Nishamalie Amarasinghe, former teacher of English at SHC attending as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor respectively. This event which was organized by the English Unit of the Primary Section was held in the Centenary Hall. This well-organized event gave the feeling of fascination throughout with dramas, songs, and speeches blending well together. This event is held every year to promote the English language skills of the students and uplift their desirable attitudes towards the English language.
