Thai Pongal Celebration of Sacred Heart Convent

 

Thai Pongal Festival Celebration organized by the Students Council of SHC was held on 12 ^th January 2022 in the Upper Court of the school. This program facilitated the students of different faiths to learn more about the Tamil Thai Pongal Festival and also celebrate it with their Tamil friends.

(This program enables students from various backgrounds to learn about and appreciate each other's cultural and religious festival to create awareness on events of cultural and religious significance to be introduced among students of all communities in Sri Lanka).
